Lykho

Lykho is an action-adventure game incorporating stealth mechanics in which the player embodies Lykho, a young strix, a race of nocturnal creatures feared by humans, who is captured following the massacre of her family and seeking to escape to find freedom.

In this 3D isometric view game, the player can move stealthily through shadowy areas and avoid lit zones, defend against humans, and interact with the environment to gain an advantage (attracting guards, modifying the lighting environment, etc.), and free the spirits of his kind.

To reach his objective without being detected, the player will need to setup a clever strategy after carefully observing the level layout, the position of guards, their patrol patterns, and the environmental elements that could be used to its advantage.

This project was carried out as part of a Master 1 course at the Haute Ecole Albert Jacquard - Video Game section in 2022-2023.
